Ive just uploaded a new page or pages to my website, but the old page keeps being displayed. Whats wrong?

A. This is another common problem we receive e-mails about. The majority of ISP’s nowadays use what is known as transparent caches which operate between you and the Internet and they ‘remember’ the pages that you have visited recently in order to be able to send them to you more quickly if you re-visit the site in a short amount of time. This is great for general browsing, but a pain for website developers as you get sent the old ‘remembered’ version of the page and not your newly uploaded one. Pressing should normally force your browser to get the latest version of the page for you.
