I’ve noticed that during data synchronization, the transaction log grows very large. What can I do?
When the database being synchronized is in Full Recovery Mode and the statements in the generated synchronization script are inside a transaction, the transaction log can grow very large. This is especially true when there is a lot of data to be synchronized. To resolve this, you can instruct ApexSQL Data Diff to split the synchronization script into N rows (where N is a customizable value). This can be set in the Synchronization Wizard |Advanced |Script Execution … Batch Every N Rows option.
