Since it may be renewed only twice, we will not be able to let you renew it until you have been offered a full time or regular part time teaching job. (We do not want you to get into a severe licensure dilemma by using up all of your Initial Licenses without getting the experience needed to move to the Standard License.) If you think that you might decide to do some substitute teaching, you could apply for a Substitute Teacher License . Of course, you can continue to apply for jobs while your license is expired. When you accept a job, then apply for renewal of your license.
