Jamie, what parting advice should aspiring Harvard MBAs take to heart when financially planning for their two years of study?
It’s been said before, but it bears repeating: The most important advice I could give is that students begin to save early and that they save as much money as they can. Also, keeping credit-card debt under control really helps when they get here. We see a lot of students become accustomed to a lifestyle that, frankly, can’t be sustained on a student budget. I think for a student to begin, even a year or two before they enroll, starting to live more within a reasonable student budget, helps an awful lot. Thanks much, Jamie. Thanks, Nadav. I appreciate it. If you’d like to learn more about the HBS financial aid program, you can visit the school’s Web site at: http://www.hbs.edu/mba/financial_aid.
