Leaf Raking vs Leaf Blowing: Which Is Better? Friday October 15, 2010 A “procrastinator” is literally a person who puts something off till tomorrow, the heart of the term being cras, which is Latin for “tomorrow.” I normally take a tolerant stance toward procrastinators; I, myself have been known to approach lawn mowing with anything but a carpe diem attitude. But leaf raking is another matter. For one thing, fall leaf raking isn’t subject to the same objections as is mowing the lawn in summer — and believe me, on any given summer day, I can come up with plenty of objections!
