Looking for a Real Hawk or Real Eagle Feather. Where can I look.?
I’m not sure about hawks, but it is illegal to own (or even possess) an eagle feather in the United States. This is due to the endangered species act. I believe there is an exception for Native Americans to possess them for religious ceremonial purposes. I suppose the hawk feathers would depend on weather or not the bird is also protected by the endangered species act.
Eagle feathers are against the law to own unless you belong to an Indian tribe. No joke a lady from Illinois gave President Clinton this beautiful gift that had Eagle Feathers she found on the ground. Afterwards, she was arrested and convicted of possession of them. This happened about 10 years ago or so. For Hawk feathers, you might go to a local Zoo and see if you can get them there.
Eagle Feathers are illegal to own unless you are a Native American (Indian) and then only under certian conditions can you own them… So you will never see them on ebay if you the seller can get into trouble along with the buyer… Hawk feathers good luck on locating. So you can stop looking for your Eagle feather…
