Magi Astrology with its emphasis on planetary interaction and geometry seems very different from traditional astrology. Why don’t you use astrological house systems and Sun signs?
A. Based on the extensive Magi Society research (and the research of others), I just do not consider house systems and Sun signs to be a foundation point of an astrological reading because they do not hold up under the scrutiny of scientific statistical analysis. On the rare occasion I might use them to help illustrate a point, I use them like seasoning for a little flavor or spice. Planetary aspects and planetary alignments are always the appetizer, salad, main dish, and dessert.
