Mass murderer Charles Manson has failed in his eleventh bid for release. Do you think he should stay behind bars?
I believe that almost everyone is capable of reform, but people like Charles Manson are exactly the reason why I use the word “Almost”. So yes, I think he should stay right where he is, rotting away the rest of his miserable existence in prison. I don’t think a serial killer of that magnitude could *Ever* be a functional member of society again, some people are beyond reform, and simply too great of a risk to ever be released. Honestly, I’m surprised that his parole is even being considered anymore, even if he *Did* completely reform, he’d have to be put into protective custody for the rest of his natural life to protect him from murderous vigilantes.
