My Betta Fish is DEAD. What did I do wrong?
Do not buy any fish until you follow my recommendations! Your fish was sick when you got it, but probably would have died sooner than later, anyway. Warm water is a bad, bad thing to do! When you are preparing to do a partial water change (you should never change all the water), fill a clean, never-before-used bucket with the anticipated amount of water needed, temperature doesn’t matter. Add the appropriate amount of water conditioner, then let it sit overnight to stabilize to room temperature. I also think you added way too much salt (although you don’t mention what size your tank is). When a fish is sick, use the appropriate medication for the disease, but don’t start throwing in everything you can think of willy-nilly. That will stress a fish to death. Now, what you should do: First, go to a book store or library and get some books on aquarium keeping. It is vital for you to learn about cycling a tank and water parameters.
