My child is in Foster Care, a child support order exists, what actions will CSS take?
As a parent, you are legally responsible for financially supporting your child, even if you are not living together. If your child is, or will be, in foster care for more than one month, Child Support Services will work with you to establish a child support order — if one does not already exist — then collect support to help pay for the cost of care for the time your child is away from home.
