This is actually quite difficult to answer, as 180, is not the right answer. The true answer is likely to be around the 165 – 175 mark. But to find the correct answer, you will need to work out whether or not you can reach that figure using the doublee and trebles of the 20 numbers plus the inner and outer bull. The reason 180 is wrong, is that for example there is no way you can score 179 or 178 with three darts (but you can 177 – T20, T20, T19), so ignore the simplistic answers above. If I had the time and the inclination, I could work this out for you, but I am too busy today. Obviously the lower the numbers get, the easier it is to acheive them, but the highest numbers and the lowest (you can’t get a score of 1 or 2 with three scoring darts either) will need to be worked out individually. I would imagine there’s probably about 10 or so scores you just can’t get with three darts out of the 180 maximum points you can get.
