In the Sysop Mode: You need to adjust your Anti-thump parameter to a higher number than the default 500 milliseconds. Go to Sysop Settings / RX Control tab to make the adjustment. You will need to keep your repeater “hang-time” down to the shortest time possible as this parameter will prevent your Echolink station from going into transmit until this time has passed. How to set it… You will need to be in front of your Echolink screen so that you can see what happens. Connect to another Echolink Station through your repeater and allow the called station to QSO with you. Tell the remote Echolink station to transmit, count to five then release his transmit. Listen for the PTT to drop through your repeater then watch your PC screen (audio line) for the repeater tail to drop. When the tail drops you don’t want your Echolink station to go into transmit (TXM appears on bottom right corner of screen). If it does then you will need to add more time (msecs) to this Anti-thump parameter. Remembe
