My manuscript includes illustrations. Can they be included in the final published book?
If we include too many illustrations they make the electronic book file too big for easy downloading, and can too greatly increase the cost of the print version. However, we can include some illustrations, and this would be something to discuss with your editor if your book is accepted by Samhain. If it isn’t possible to put the illustrations in the digital edition, due to file size, they can still be later included in the print edition. Please be aware that the responsibility for acquiring artists’ permission, and for arranging payment for artists’ work, lies wholly with the author, not with Samhain.
