My NetID is not synchronized anymore. How did that happen?

Users with @mail.rochester.edu can break the synchronization of their mail and NetID passwords by two methods. (1) Eudora users who change their password using Eudora’s change password feature will change their password on mail.rochester.edu account but not for their NetID. (2) Users who change their passwords by connecting to mail.rochester.edu via an SSH connection.
