My new kitten has blood in her stool, what could be the cause?
none of the answers on here will give you much help hun as well a vet would not make a diagnosis over the internet they would want to see your kitty, and well seen as we can not see your kitty well any diagnosis is hard,…. the only thing i can advise is there are a number of reasons that she could of pooped with blood…. 1 constipation it is possible that kitty just strained when pooping 2 worms 3 ate something that does not agree with it 4 other medical condition personaly i understand that vets are closed but what i would do is make sure kitty has plenty of water for over night… keep an eye on stool and kitty as well if more blood comes at a faster rate then you will need to phone emergency vet make sure that you call vet 1st thing in the morning and get them seen to asap look on her furr for little black dirt spots…(like tiny black grains) this is flea poop do this by pushing against the furr (if you have a flea or headlice comb or fine tooth comb use this against the fur and
