My opponent just played a Darius/Seduce combination. I have a Forethought in play: can I use the Forethought to counter the Darius card?

A 9.3 You can but it won’t help. Darius is played in conjunction with the other card so countering him won’t stop the other card from coming into play. You could counter the card played with Darius though, if you have the correct counter card.
