My phone is out of battery. After connecting the adapter, why doesn the phone appear to be charging and/or turned on when I press the power button?

If the phone hasn’t been used for a long time and/or the battery power dropped below operating voltage, the LCD screen will be blank. Plug the adapter and wait for about 5 to 10 minutes for it to charge the battery. When the LCD screen shows “charging”, the phone can then be turned on. It is recommended that the battery be charged as soon as possible when “low battery” is indicated.
