My USB camera has stopped working, what’s wrong?

0

There are two probable reasons for this: 1. Make sure that you have not opened a non-Milestone XProtect application displaying video from your USB cameras; this includes USB cameras’ setup and/or viewing windows, Skype and so on. 2. You may have moved your USB camera to a different USB port. To reconnect the USB camera to XProtect Go, open the XProtect Go Management Application and expand Advanced Configuration in the navigation pane in the left part of the Management Application. Continue to expand the Cameras and Storage Information, right-click the camera in question and select Properties. Then, in the Camera Properties dialog, select Video and click the Configure Video Properties button. In the Video Properties button, click OK. Then click OK in the Camera Properties dialog. Finally, in the Management Application’s toolbar, click the Save Changes and Restart Surveillance Services button.
