Answer         The following information outlines how NIKE evaluates and responds to requests for charitable cash grants, product donations and sponsorships. Charitable resources are targeted towards projects initiated by nonprofit, tax-exempt organizations (as defined under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code) and align with our program guidelines and geographic priorities. Specifically, we seek partners whose programs increase physical activity among youth in the communities where Nike has a significant retail presence through our NIKEtown or NIKE Factory Stores and where NIKE employees live and work.
