UMBC will request a course description if we cannot determine transferability of a course based solely on a transcript title. Course descriptions must come from an institution’s catalog or their web site. If asked for a description, you should provide copies of this information to the Office of the Registrar, where it will be reviewed and/or forwarded to the appropriate academic department at UMBC for consideration. Please include the Course Description Request Form with your submission.
