On occasion, when I print PDFs, images are missing and the size of the document is different to the screen view. How can I correct this?
SilentPrint uses either Adobe Acrobat or Reader to actually print PDFs. The problems mentioned normally only occur when Adobe Reader is being used by SilentPrint. It is therefore recommended that Adobe Acrobat is installed so SilentPrint uses that for printing PDFs. All releases of SilentPrint prior to 2.34 default to using Adobe Reader if both Adobe Reader and Acrobat were installed. This has now been changed so SilentPrint uses Adobe Acrobat by default. Users operating releases of SilentPrint prior to 2.34 that have both Adobe Reader and Acrobat installed should add the following parameter and value to the [MISC] section of the SilentPrint Configuration file, SilentPrint.ini, to ensure Acrobat is used instead of Reader… [MISC] PDF reader path = Path and filename of Adobe Acrobat Example: PDF reader path = C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 7.0\Acrobat\Acrobat.exe Back to top Documents Require Different Printer Settings I need certain documents to be printed at different quality setting
