Yes. However, farms partly within NVZ but with main farm buildings outside the NVZ can qualify for the Wales Water Catchment Sensitive Farming Grant scheme for slurry stores and spreading equipment only. This is on a pro-rata basis depending on the amount of spreadable land within the NVZ, and providing slurry is not transported more than 10 miles. Further details are available from the NVZ helpline (01824) 704060. Owing to the selective nature of the ACRES application process, farmers in this position may wish to access the Wales Water Catchment Sensitive Farming (NVZ) Grant scheme for slurry stores and spreading equipment, rather than ACRES. Such farms can also apply for selection for the ACRES manure/slurry efficiency scheme for grant on the remaining items not grant aided by CSF e.g. clean water separation.
