PalmPilot cradle drains battery A Conklin Systems web page states that PalmPilot batteries may drain if the Pilot is left in the HotSync cradle. They describe a fix for this. Warning: it requires modifying the wiring in the cradle, although it is described as a “simple change that will take less than a couple of minutes.” I wonder whether it may be simpler to just never leave the Pilot in the cradle for extended periods of time. HotSync problem with Pilot III? Henry Vaccaro, who alerted me to this web page, also writes that PalmPilot III users are reporting problems getting HotSync to work.
