Rebreather Training does represent a fundamental step change in the techniques required to use the specific unit. The first response is to bailout to a known safe condition, i.e. a familiar OC demand valve. The response in an out of gas situation where you rely on a buddy for an alternate source remains the same and is one of the reasons for relying on a consistent system.
