That depends on the story. If it contains elements of horror, sci-fi, or fantasy, it would be eligible for consideration in the appropriate category. YA and childrens literature is seldom separated by genre, which is why you would need the different submissions.

However, we urge you to consider carefully whether a work truly belongs within a particular category and enter accordingly. Remember, if work is entered in multiple categories, then a copy of the entry must be sent to each judge in each of the relevant category/categories.
