Should abortion not be a capital offence when it murders the most helpless and innocent?

We have abolished capital offences and the Human Rights treaties have put paid to restoring the death penalty, so I have to say no to that part of the question. Abortion is a crime against nature. It invades the inner sanctum of a woman’s body, where a child is nurtured and protected, and violates the sanctity of that child’s life. Those who promote abortion do so by adjusting their vocabulary. The child is not a child, or even a foetus — but a pregnancy. The whole thing is viewed as an operation on the mother’s body — leaving the child’s body out of the equation. They speak of the mother’s right to choose — forgetting that the child is denied even the fundamental right to live. It is a matter for concern that the USA has elected a leader who is so ardently in favour of abortion — including full term abortion. http://www.lifenews.com/nat4186.
