Should Hyundai Santa Fe warranty cover the damage to the driveshaft?

0

We have a 2002 Santa Fe with damaged driveshaft and rear differential. We had been involved in one accident in 2003 – someone rear-ended us and we had to replace the rear bumper, exhaust, and muffler..after that, the car didn’t sound or felt the same as before. One time, we had the car checked out for unusual noise at Hyundai dealer while getting an oil change. They said nothing wrong with the car. But last month, we were stopped at a light and heard a loud cracking noise and the car started vibrating uncontrollably when tried to drive. We had it towed to a local service station, then after finding out what the problem was, towed it to the dealer b/c at first they said it’s covered under 10yr warranty. However, the car’s still sitting there b/c they now say we probably got in another accident and caused the damage, so no warranty. The insurance company that took our claim says they’re not responsible b/c it’s not due to the accident. now dealer saying warranty only 5yr. Any advice? A:
