Should I use the pulsatile nasal/sinus irrigator after undergoing surgery for the deviated nasal septum and the inferior turbinate?

0

Last July a young man, who had just received operation for deviated nasal septum and inferior turbinate hypertrophy for a week, came to my clinic for a check-up. I found out that the nasal wound was already infected, there were chunks of dried blood in his nasal chambers, and there was yellow-green snot. So I recommended him to use the pulsatile nasal/sinus irrigator every morning and night. I also told him to come back for another check-up after two weeks. When he came back, I saw that the wound was already healed. The man told me that by using the pulsatile nasal/sinus irrigator, he noticed that the infected wound was better. He also told me that during those two weeks, he didnt take any antibiotics.
