Should illegal immigrants be naturalized?
The easy answer is of course, no However, we have been so lax in applying the laws we already have on the books, that being an illegal immigrant seems to be akin to enforcing the speed limit laws. Now we have millions of illegal immigrants working here and propping up our economy by taking jobs native born people disdain. And anyone who thinks illegal immigrants are eligible for the same benefits that native born people are just don’t know the rules. They are eligible for some things like ER services, but not most things. Many of the illegal immigrants are hard working, “good” citizens. If they are they should be given a path to citizenship but there definitely should also be penalties for coming here illegally.
