Should Jeffrey Dahmers father be jailed?
What a sweeping, totally misunderstanding question. You’re utterly wrong when you claim it’s solely the parents’ fault when a “kid becomes a monster,” because you’re implying children are ONLY what their parents make them. YOU’RE WRONG. I grew up in a very unloving, abusive family, and I was shunned from my family just because I had a twin brother. Most people, including you, would say that I would most likely have become a useless criminal, just like my father. But I’m not, and I vowed never to become like that. Instead, I focused on graduating from high school, eventually graduating as valedictorian, studying in college to become an electrical engineer… YOU DON’T SEE ME WANTING TO BE ABUSIVE. My parents had little to no influence on who I am today. Don’t make claims if you’ve never been exposed to that situation. Because you obviously don’t know what it’s like. ADD: His father shouldn’t be jailed for his son’s actions. He wasn’t responsible. But you don’t know that in the least.
