Should pregnant teenagers still attend church?
I think it is a wonderful idea. She needs love and support from a positive circle of people. Although your youth group leader should make it clear that premarital sex is not a good thing, nobody should make her an outcast for being pregnant. She may have made a mistake in having sex before marriage but God will forgive her (if she asks for forgiveness) and the people of God’s church should not pass judgement because they too are sinners and have made mistakes. If she is committed to changing her actions and getting her life on the correct path for herself and her child (that means no more premarital sex) then she should not be looked down upon but supported. If someone in your church is rude to her or tells her she doesn’t belong there then you should consider finding a church that is following the Bible’s teachings on forgiveness.
