Should rock/paper/scissors be made an Olympic sport?
I think Rock/Paper/Scissors will have it’s Olympic day in the sun some time, it already has a lot of serious competitors. Since it’s already on its way to greatness, I think we should take this opportunity to promote some other worthy sports. • Hand Slapping: The game where one person puts their hands under the others, and then has to slap the person’s hand on top before they can pull them away. This should be a Winter Olympic sport, because slapping frozen fingers as hard as possible is serious business! • Nuke/Paper/Scissors: A popular Cold War version, where either player can drop a Nuke, automatically winning the game, but destroying all of mankind in the process. Probably a good match for the extreme nature of X-Games competition. • Competitive Eye Poking: Popularized by the Three Stooges, eye poking is a subtle sport involving the grace of fencing, the strategy of chess, and the brutality of eye gouging.
