Need to review master specifications and VAMC requirements. Need to review if this creates increased workload and cost for medical center. Would this cost be covered by Impact funds? Recommendation: Yes, Update both PM handbook and insert spec writers note in section 01001-1.76 Impact funds should be used to reimburse medical center for material. Contractor shall maintain documentation for issue and turn-in of badges. Monetary penalty shall be instituted for any badge not returned.
