Should the world boycott the London 2012 Olympics?
I believe that Western people have treated the Chinese government unfairly and they have completely forgot their own atrocities: 1. Feb 2006: British soldiers beat and several Iraqis teens and taunting them and the cameraman being quite abusive and uses expletives 2. Supporting the Americans for their atrocities to the Iraqis and Bush caused 4000 military death of his own 3 Support of Israel for their atrocities in Gaza killing many innocent civilians. Maybe they can’t accept that the fact that Democracy may harm China so they drew sympathy for the jailed traitors and martyrs. Since British haven’t do so to 2008, it seems unfair to others to boycott theirs.
2012 olympics should not be bycot by the world because they have not killed innocent people but they have been done good thing to killd saddamhussein because he has killd lot od kurdish people by gas so for the vistory it is necessary to win th iraq war so innocent people killing is just insident not premediated done but at china crash tibet so bejing should be banned insted of uk
Sure if the world chooses to stand up and protest, but news flash, they wont, because the simple fact is they know what England has done pales in comparison to what China has done. Killing Tibetans for the appearance of ‘peace and tranquility’ is just the tip of the iceberg, they forced millions to move into smaller, less favorable apartments so Olympic venues could be built, some towns now face water shortages because the government is stealing their water to take care of the demand for the Olympics, Factories are being shut down, which means people can’t work, to lower the pollution level so the gov’t wont be humiliated by having athletes fall over from breathing issues. This is not all of it, but this is enough to get started…. So yeah, I think its a good idea to protest the China Olympics. If the world believes Britain is bad, they too have the right to protest that, well unless they live in China… then the government tells them what to do, but you get the point… Somehow I do
