Should there be a sequel to the Film “Avatar”, will James Cameron still be the director?

James Cameron has already stated that he plans on making Avatar into a trilogy. Should there be a sequel to film? Well, I would say yes and no to that question. Yes, because James has already created Pandora and also has the possibility to continue the story on one of the other moons orbiting Polyphemus. Also, there is a possibility to continue the story underneath the crust of Pandora. Plus, I’m sure the humans might come back bigger in numbers and in technology to continue harvest of the unobtanium. No, because most of the main characters were killed in the movie like Dr. Grace Augustine, the pilot Trudy, and most of the Na’vi’s leadership is already dead. MOST of the resources and scientist needed for the Avatar program are no longer available or were shipped off the planet (but it did mention a few were allowed to stay with the Na’vi). Unless Cameron can devise another compelling plot, I think Avatar was left perfect as it is, but I would no doubt go see the sequels in the theaters
