Some of my students reported a problem with submitting or uploading an assignment?
A.When using Firefox 3 browser, the students who are trying to upload an assignment file will receive a “Please enter a valid file” message. While this issue will be fixed in the newer Blackboard version, a workaround can be found at http://www.shsu.edu/~ucs_www/webdev/blackboard/blog/2008/07/blackboard-and-firefox-3-assignment.html Alternatively, the students can also use Internet Explorer (version 7 or 6) instead of Firefox 3. Please also note that students using Internet Explorer 8 will also receive the same error message.
