Teddy Bear hamster!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Teddy Bear, aka Golden or Syrian hamsters MUST be kept alone. They are extremely territorial and I’m sorry, but if you place them in the same cage, one will end up seriously hurt or even dead. If you want to have multiples in the same cage, stick to dwarfs like you had the first time. They’re just as social they’re just a lot speedier and take a little more socialization. It’s also best to go with male hamsters no matter if you choose Syrian or dwarf because they’re much friendlier. Females go into heat every 3-4 days which makes them quite irritable.
