The blanket I purchased had the weights evenly distributed but it was stitched on both sides of the blanket and uncomfortable for my child. Is the DreamCatcher Weighted Blanket different?

Yes our blanket is made using multiple layers of fabric and the backing is smooth and not stitched throughout. We landed on this patent pending design because of our son. He has “classic” autism and is sensory sensitive to seams, tags and labels in his clothing, etc. It is the design he preferred when we started DreamCatchers and exploring new and different designs. He is not on any medications and, uses his blanket every night for sleep and as a calming tool during times of anxiety or stress.
