The characters install setup says it can find the selected directory folder to install the character, whats wrong?
You may be missing some MS Agent core components, the folder in which characters MUST reside is part of these components. The character’s setup by default installs the character file to the folder located here … C:\Windows\Msagent\chars … if you are running windows NT then you must manually change the directory location in the setup to … C:\winnt\Msagent\chars You can test to see if it’s there by simply coping and pasting C:\Windows\Msagent\chars into your IE browser’s address field. If you get a “page not found” then the folder does not exist. Also, if using XP make sure the account your using has admin privileges or you might not be able to install or read system files. If the folder does not exist, go to our MS Agent Components page and install all the required components.
