There is always a great debate about what you should and should not do when writing for either the B2B or B2C market. Many people will tell you that you need a different approach when writing for each. I think, to a certain degree, that is probably true, but I always maintain that B2B sales writing should be treated the same way as B2C writing. Now at this point, you are either nodding in agreement or shouting at your PC screen listing all the reasons why I am completely wrong. Well, if you fall into the latter category let me ask you something. Why should it be different? • Can a company physically get up and go to the local shopping centre to buy something? • Can a company actually pop round to the local coffee shop to meet you for a quick chat? • Can a company sit down at a table to sign a contract?
