The driver successfully loaded but I still cannot access the camera memory. What is wrong?
FLIR cameras install as a network device and use TCP/IP to communicate with the PC. Windows XP Service Pack 2 comes with a firewall that is set to on by default, and this can sometimes interfere with camera communication. To solve this click “Start –> Control Panel” and double-click on “Windows Firewall”. Go to the “Exceptions” tab and make sure that “Thermacam Quickview” is listed with a check mark next to it. If not click “Add” to add it to the list of exceptions. Once Quickview is added to this list it should allow communication with the camera.
