The embedded browser is not showing any content for a news, why?

If RSSOwl is showing no content for any news you select or the embedded browser is showing an error, then maybe your firewall is blocking RSSOwl from using the embedded browser to display the content. Try turning off your firewall for a moment (while not being connected to the internet) to see if its working then. If the firewall is the reason, configure it to allow connections to 127.0.0.1 on port 8795. This is what RSSOwl uses to retrieve content from. Adding this exception is not causing any harm. RSSOwl behaves weird with GTK 2.18 (like Ubuntu and Fedora 12) Please make sure that you are running RSSOwl 2.0.5 or later.
