The Oakland California murders of four law enforcement officers…does anyone know what assault rifle the criminal used?
There are so many weapons on the street available to anyone with money or contacts. These are supplied from many sources, mainly though, can be purchased from drug cartels. These are the weapons our Government needs to control and get off the streets. This how ever is easier said than done. If there was a total ban on guns and all were to be finally controlled these would be the only threats left, those willing to make the money will run guns to those willing to purchase. The Government would have to quadruple the ATF Department to even come close to waging a decent battle on illegal firearms in the U.S. I have yet to see the news and the identified weapon that was used, but it had to be a compact assault rifle one that resembles an UZI and not much bigger. Anything larger would have been a hindrance to the shooter, giving our Police officers a small chance at survival.
