There are three principle fittings in use around the world. A different magnetic fitting is designed to fit each type. Bayonet B22 is common in UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and India Edison Screw E26 is used in USA and Japan. Edison Screw E27 is used throughout Europe. Bayonet fittings are shown rather than Edison Screw simply because we are at a sensitive stage in the patent process with the Edison Screw and our Bayonet patent was published in February 2007 so is public domain.
