This can happen for 2 reasons: 1) The scale did not calibrate properly. Try moving the scale to a hard, flat surface. 2) The scale was not able to make a weight measurement. Please make sure to stand still once you are on the scale. If your weight is shifting around the scale can not make an accurate measurement. If the scale can not get an accurate reading within 10 seconds, you will get an error (“Err”).
