The Scanner Configuration Manager (SCM) says, No USB device Found. How can I configure it?

Most USB scanners will need to be in “keyboardless” mode in order for SCM to recognize it. To set this mode manually, you must scan the keyboardless barcode on page A.1 in the quick setup sheet of the configuration manual. If SCM does not recognize your scanner, go ahead and make all the necessary changes in SCM as if your scanner were recognized. Then press Settings and Print into Barcode. A barcode will be generated and sent to your printer. Scan this barcode with your scanner to program it with the settings just created. If there are multiple barcodes generated then scan them all from top to bottom.
