The Scarlet Pimpernel version 3.0 is that a musical about computer software?
Frank Wildhorn’s The Scarlet Pimpernel opened and closed in no less than three different incarnations on Broadway, in addition to one on tour a few months afterward. Fans and people involved with Pimpernel became so used to the constant changes to the show and openings and closings of the show that its different versions came to be known as 1.0 (the original cast), 2.0 (the one that opened a year later starring Douglas Sills, Rachel York, and Rex Smith), 3.0 (the one that starred Marc opposite Ron Bohmer and Carolee Carmello at the Neil Simon Theatre) and 4.0 (the touring cast). Marc has always acknowledged his involvement in the particular incarnation of the show that was 3.0 by including the version number in his biographies for various playbills.
