The Ultimate Driving Machine?
In 1975 BMW adopted the advertising tagline “The Ultimate Driving Machine” as a way to clearly communicate its priorities as a small, premium carmaker. For more than three decades, many BMWs have been sold on that perception. Whether or not a BMW is actually the ultimate driving machine is left up to personal interpretation, but the company has consistently delivered vehicles of all types that feature spirited performance, athletic dynamics and are designed primarily from the driver’s perspective.
