This question was added at a later time: What procedures are in place should a PROS exceed its budgeted revenue?
From a budgeting perspective, Medicaid revenue should be budgeted at the approved PAR until: (1) a revised PAR has been submitted and approved or (2) receipt of a COLA to the Medicaid PROS rate. Actual revenue collected in excess of the amount on the approved PAR may result in a program review to determine if a revised PAR is required.
