To head to interlaken,which airport will be nearer,geneva or basel mulhouse?
Hey there, Although on paper Basel Mulhouse is closer than Geneva to Interlaken (156 km vs. 213 km), Geneva will have more flights to and from it to more destinations. As “Goddess” points out, Geneva does have the advantage of having a station attached to the airport complex, whereas getting to the train at Basel requires you to take bus into the city centre. HOWEVER — there are direct trains from Basel to Interlaken every 30 minutes, whilst if you take the train from Geneva, you will need to change in Bern (which isn’t that bad as Bern has an excellent station) Hope this helped, JPJ CORRECTED EXPANSION: Sorry, I didn’t notice the little emblem in the top left-hand corner of your Y!
